Garden Maintenance is a service for Council tenants over 75 and those who are physically unable to maintain their garden and have no relatives to help.The scheme involves:• Cutting grass on a maximum of 14 occasions per annum (approx. once per fortnight) and uplifting the grass thereafter.• Two weedkilling sprays per annum.• Strimming of edges three times per annum.• One hedge cut (between September and November) – shrubs are not included. The administration fee for this service is £115.00. You must be approved by your Housing and Support Officer before joining the scheme.
