Snails of the Unexpected
Join children’s author Terrie Chilvers for an interactive workshop featuring shapeshifting snails, unexpected minibeasts and papercraft
The session will include:
Introduction to Snails of the Unexpected, and Fergus and Shelby’s mission to save humankind
An interactive mollusc and bug quiz that reveals very unexpected facts about minibeasts.
A chapter reading from the book.
Storytelling workshop – together we build a new chapter in the book by coming up with ideas for different things that Fergus and Shelby shapeshift into.
Activity - children get the chance to create a paper snail in a crafting session.
Event suitable for children 4 to 11 years old. Parents & carers welcome to attend for all ages and must attend for under 8s, but tickets only required for children.
