“Rotherham’s Looked After Children’s Council are hoping to be able to take an educational visit to Poland next year, with your help they can do so.
The ‘Destination Poland’ project will be a unique journey of exploration and education for 14 young people from the Looked After Children (LAC) Council supported by staff. The visit, backed by corporate parents including senior staff at Rotherham Council and elected members, will enable the children and young people to learn more about anti-fascism, significant events in history and enable them to bring their learning back to peers.
The LAC Council are a group of children and young people who are in care and leaving care, aged 11 to 18 years old. The group provides an opportunity for them to get their voice heard and work together to influence positive decisions to improve the lives of young people living in care in Rotherham.
Any donation is appreciated to help the LAC Council reach their goal. All money raised goes to the LAC Council.”
