Disclosure and Barring Service
The Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checking process enables an employer to access information from the police and appropriate barred lists. By being directed to this site you will have already began the process of applying for a DBS check by completing the Criminal Record Check Request Form and submitting your request via the Barnsley Council Disclosure and Barring Service website. Please ensure the volunteer has been offered a position that requires an enhanced disclosure check with one of Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council HR Service Centre’s clients. Details of positions the DBS consider a volunteer can be found by searching www.gov.uk dbs guidance for volunteers. Once payment is received then your application will be progressed further.
